Structural Engineering

It is, of course, all about structural integrity. And that takes detailed planning and analysis.

Structural engineering is among the oldest types of engineering, dating back to the first time tree branches were lashed together with vines to make a shelter.

We apply the laws of physics, mathematics and our years of experience to design the bones and muscles that bear the load of your structure.

Working closely with our clients to understand the function of the project, we provide a safe, constructable, and economical solution for successful completion of your project.

As structural engineers, our top priority is public safety. The consequences of a collapsed structure can be catastrophic. This is why we use factors of safety in our design to account for any uncertainty in load assumptions and unexpected deficiencies in construction materials or workmanship.

We design structures to meet estimated load requirements, computing size, shape, strength, and type of structural members.

In addition, we provide inspection of existing projects and recommend methods of repair and replacement of defective members in the rebuilding of structures.
